Contract Buyouts: Beginning at Midnight the night/morning of Opening Day... - Team Control Contracts are no longer free buyouts. The buyout will be 50% of the 2021 value and all future years are voided. MiLB drops are still free and are tied to the player's status at the beginning of the season. - Guaraunteed Contracts, whether real life values or free agent bids, can no longer be bought out in one lump sum in the current year. Buyouts will be 50% of each year's value spread across the full contract duration.
MiLB Players & Transactions Beginning at Midnight the night/morning of Opening Day... - Each MiLB eligible player may only be promoted 3 times during the season. Make sure that your rosters are arranged the way you want them the night before opening day so that you don't burn a callup to start the season. - Your Fantrax roster should match the official league spreadsheet. Players listed on the 20 man MiLB roster should be placed in minor league spots and players on the 40 man mlb roster should be in the active and bench spots. This is 100% the responsibility of each team's GM. Having a player on the bench when they should be in the minors and vice versa does not constitute a penalty, but it should be avoided. Using a player from the 20 man minor league roster in an active spot without making the proper transaction on this site carries harsh penalties per the constitution. Having the right players in the minor league spots on Fantrax is the best way to avoid a mistake.
Salary Roll-overs Beginning at Midnight the night/morning of Opening Day... - Cap values lock. No additional roll-over changes will be recognized.
