I am very high on Jose Garcia. When I saw he was on the move a few weeks ago, I checked in with Rod to see if he’d be open to flipping him. After some time (thank you for being patient with me) we were able to reach a deal. Parting with Colmenarez wasn’t easy. There’s a chance he’s the next Wander Franco, especially considering the Rays’ recent success in the J2 market. On the other hand, Garcia is much closer to making an impact at the MLB level, so I’m ok with that trade off. It was tough to part with Walker and Goss too, I like them both. Hopefully Arihara performs well for me, and Mitchell as well.
