Kevin and I have been chatting about arms for awhile before we finally put this one on the board. Preciado is a guy I was adamant about keeping this offseason but he was ultimately a necessary means to an end here, as I really needed some innings. Walker and Waino come with obvious risks, but they're good and they'll contribute this year. Walker, in particular, I've loved since he was a wee little Mariners prospect so I'm excited to have my first shares of him. To Kevin for confirmation.

Giants confirm. I liked where walker landed with the Mets on a multi year deal and waino will put up solid numbers with the cards this year. I’m not sure if waino will continue after this year. I didn’t see either of these pitchers being around when my team is ready so getting some high risk high reward prospects in the deal. Cubs are making comparisons of preciado to Kris Bryant in high school. In my head, Lange is like Ricky Vaughn in Major League. Flame thrower with questionable control (maybe he just needs glasses). And Mears is a big boy with big power and some speed. Will he develop his contact skills? Only time will tell.
