Reds Trade:
Eugenio Suarez, CI - $10.5M in 2021, $11M in 2022 & 2023, $15M club option for 2024 Nick Senzel, OF - $600k in 2021 with 3 years of arbitration to follow. Nick Lodolo, SP - MiLB contract Josh Fleming, SP/RP - $500k in 2021, $600k in 2022 with 3 years of arbitration to follow
Mets Trade: Corey Seager, MI - $13,75M in 2021 Spencer Turnbull, SP - $750k in 2021 with 3 years of arbitration to follow Jimmy Lambert, SP/RP - MiLB contract
Seager solidifies my middle infield both in the short term and long term as I plan on using the franchise tag with the amount of cap space I’ll accumulate. Seager and Garcia is a dynamic duo to rival any middle infield once Garcia quiets his hands and fixes his leg kick. Plus I have Moose, Votto, Andujar, Evans, Diaz, and Hinds to cover the CI spot. Hate losing Senzel but, pulling in Turbull and Lambert really solidify my pitching depth and I think that the injury history with Senzel is just going to continue despite his real potential as a hitter.
On to Walt to confirm.

Confirmed.
Didn’t plan on moving Seager but once I took a look at what my cap situation would be in the near future, I decided it was an option if it provided me the opportunity for controllable depth.
Losing his bat in the middle is ok with my options to slot there in Madrigal, McNeil and Merrifield.
I have 3 great CI’s in Alonso, Arenado & Suarez who should provide plenty of pop over the next 3+ years.
I gain Fleming who I plan on being my Lugo replacement with all of the SP’s the real TB have signed and get a guy I love in Lodolo who I’m confident is a starter in Cincy next year, if not this one, with a possible relief role this year.
I hate giving up a cheap starter like Spencer and my hidden gem in Lambert but I buy low on Senzel and hope he turns it around there or gets sent somewhere else to figure things out with all of the potential he carries.
Great working on this deal with Adam and good luck to him!
