RP Evan Phillips (+ 50% buydown) - $3.25M FA
My search for an impact bat ahead of the deadline has been difficult, so with time winding down, I'm pivoting to improving my pitching staff as much as possible and just crossing my fingers that my bats get healthy in time. Robert Suarez has been nails all year and you know I can't resist bringing in real Padres players. Phillips has had more of an up and down year but looks like he's hot now and I think he'll be money when I need him most.
