I'm taking on a little salary and giving up Molina who was my stop gap for C and Nicky Lopez who I liked as MI but doesn't have a ton of ceiling unless he starts running. I will be interested in seeing Sheets develop this year in the minors and Mazara is still only 25 years old. CWS to confirm.

Needed a stable and relatively cheap backup catcher and Yadi should fill that role nicely when he eventually signs (hopefully back in STL). Lopez will provide another useful depth option with speed at a good price. Sheets has zero value until the Sox trade him, so I'm more than comfortable parting ways with him.
