SP Omar Cruz - Standard MiLB

Mariners Trade:

SP Luke Weaver - $1.9M Arb2 Arb3

Flipping Ty France back to the Mariners here, as this struck me as a nice match. I think I have a good amount of flexibility around the infield right now and needed more SP innings while Jeff's block said he wanted to deal pitching for an infielder. Weaver and France trended in different directions in 2020, but I think they both will be solid long-term pieces so hopefully this solves a need for both of us!

Mariners confirm. I was on the lookout for more long term bats, and I got just that. I like Weaver and his k rate, but I needed more constant bats. Not to be overlooked is Omar Cruz. He looks like a stud in the minors. A dart throw I am very excited about.
