My reasons got cut off.
I had two open roster spots from my Salvy trade. Kirk was no longer needed since I now have the KC Cs. I like Mason Black and mildly interested in Cole Winn. Seems like Winn had some solid IP in winter ball. Maybe we see him come up this year. Waters could serve some useful OF abs for me. Over to Jonathon to confirm.

I could use a C. Kirk is young, has potential, & under team control. Hoping he bounces back. Don't love trading Black, but gotta give to get. Thinking my OF is deep enough to lose Waters.
