I gave up alot of young talent in this deal since I am in a rebuild season. Alzolay and Roederer is ranked high in the Cubs organization and expect a lot of good things coming from them in the future. Carraway has a lot of good upside as a future closer/holds type guy, and Nico Hoerner was going to be my guy for the future but I switched my guy of the future with McKinistry. Both have a lot of potential. J.D. davis is a replacement for Bryant after this year if I don't decide to franchise him. Espinoza is a little bit more of a risk but I think he will be good canidate for a comeback story since he is so young still and could really shine if he can put the injuries behind him. Good talks with Chris

Cardinals agree to this deal. Wasn’t really looking to move that much MLB talent but I feel I received some great pieces in return. Alzolay was pretty good last season and a nice add to my pitching staff. I’m a big Hoerner fan and although we haven’t seen much for power yet, I feel he’s still a consistent hitter. I love Roederer and have been trading for him in most leagues. I feel he can be a mainstay in the Cubs OF for years. I’m hoping Carraway becomes a solid bullpen arm. He should be up in the MLB possibly this year I recently traded my 2nd round pick, so adding one back closed this deal out.
