Riley Adams, C, WAS - '24: 700k, '25: 700k, '26: 700k
One of the best walk up songs in the majors (All the Small Things), and I feel like he's going to get more looks at 1B this year. In addition, he's a back-up catcher with no real competition on the Nats, so he'll get ABs. Feel confident I'll get enough playing time between him and my other catchers to wait until the Queros get to the majors. I think Martinez had a semi-down year last year but I feel confident he bounces back now that he's healthy and could push for AAA by the end of the year. Hoping this deal works out well for the both of us. Great dealing with Walt, over to him to confirm.
