TB sends: Jonathan India, MI (CIN) - 24: $3.2M; 25-26: ARB Rafael Montero, RP (HOU) - 24: $6M, 25: $6M Austin Adams, RP (NYM) - 24: $0.7M, 25: $0.7M Mitch Haniger, OF (SF) - 24: $18.5M
TEX sends: Carson Williams, MI (TB) - Prospect
TB Logic: I acquired Montero and Haniger this off-season in trades, but I have since decided that I want their contracts completely off of my books. Attaching India with them to make the salary dump work is certainly unconventional, but I feel it is fair overall. It is very tough to move India - the first player I ever acquired in this league, one of my personal favorites, and a hometown hero. However, in spite of the thin depth in my infield, I felt it might be wise to move him because he is arb-eligible; a philosophy similar to the real life Rays, I suppose. In addition to the newfound cap space, I am also adding an exciting prospect in Carson Williams. Here's hoping he can slash his strikeout rate and continue his ascent to the Big Leagues.
**Carson Williams will slot into my MiLB roster**
Nice talks with David on this one, welcome to the league and good luck!

Texas accepts.
India isn’t the flashy name in Cincinnati anymore, but he is still a very solid player who immediately upgrades my roster. Parting with Williams was tough, but the opportunity to get an MLB regular in a league this size for a single prospect was too good to pass up.
Taking the money helped get this deal done. Good dealing with Tampa and best of luck to both of us.
My quest to field an actual full, legal roster this season continues.
