Wilmer Flores, MI/CI SF - $6.5M in ‘24 w/ club option of $3.5M in ‘25

This is exactly what the doctor ordered in Cincinnati. We needed to add cost effective bats this offseason and Flores is exactly that. Giving up a couple of names that could be effective but nothing elite in Anderson & Middleton while giving away some long term assets in the pick and Vaquero. Glad working with the new guy Chris on this one.

The rebuild begins. Getting a fun young prospect that reminds me a bit of Jonatan Clase (personal favorite), a draft pick to help replenish there, a nice bullpen piece, and the cost of Tyler Anderson to make it all lineup.
