I am looking to retool my rotation a bit and felt like Rogers could be a decent dart throw. Who knows if he will even be in a rotation at the end of Spring Training, but I am willing to take the gamble on him.

Took a chance on Trevor Rogers coming back late last year and whiffed. He's an interesting arm, but I like the odds of Ferguson contributing more next year, especially if his batted ball luck improves. I know I need to rebuild my farm a good bit too, so I'm excited to even out the years of control with a draft pick.
