I didn't have intentions on trading GGonzo, but I'm a believer in ECabrera. After trading away Stroman, TWalker, & Montero, I needed to recoup some Pitching. Not to mention, I'm actively shopping Taillon & Phillips, so my P rotation is a full blown project right now. Garrett & ECab are both promising, young, & affordable, so they fit my current build. I like Melton's power/speed combo, and uh... have I mentioned I'm an Astros fan lately? Lol. I may regret moving GGonzo in a year or two, as he was the centerpiece in 1 of my previous trades, but if ECab reaches his potential, I'll be thrilled.

I’m in full blow up mode and Cabrera and Garrett weren’t going to do me any good in the short term.

Will probably regret moving them and Melton in a few years but I’m hinting a new core.

Anytime you can get solid up and coming IF’s, OF’s and a catcher in a deal, you make it.
