This was a tough one for me to pull the trigger on, but the way my team is performing I feel like Wheeler gives me a better chance to win the league the next two years. I can cry about how great Carter and Misio turned out to be later. Over to Bailey for confirmation.

Trading one of my Aces to the AL team closest to me in the standings in exchange for 2 players who likely won’t appear in the Majors this year is…risky. But my mantra is to make the moves that set me up best longterm, and I believe this accomplishes that. MiLB Analysts have varying opinions on Carter, but the consensus conclusion is that he’s “quite good.” I haven’t seen him in person myself, so taking a bit of a risk that he’s legit. I’m still mad Jared sniped me on Misiorowski back in the Minors Draft, so acquiring him here rectifies that. It will suck if Wheeler was the difference between a pennant and no pennant, but I like the prospect duo’s outlook for 2024 and beyond.
