The following is from my initial league email: "Please note, these leagues tend to have a flurry of trades on the first day of trading being opened. I've seen these backroom deals hurt the balance of the league before it can really even get started. I will ask that you refrain from trade discussions prior to initial rosters being finalized on 11/15. Obviously I cannot control what you do in private, but I'm asking this for the health of the league. There will be restrictions on trading players without making them publicly available at the beginning of the league, probably for the first month of trading being opened. More details on the particulars of this policy will be announced well in advance of the initial rosters deadline."
In order to make sure that the league starts on equal footing and there are no advantages to pre-existing relationships, the following restriction will apply to trading until 1/1/2021: - No player may be traded without being publicly posted as available in the trade block section of the message board for 1 full week.
Trade blocks may be posted beginning on 11/16/2020 (the day after rosters are finalized), which is two weeks prior to trading opening. This requirement should not hamper any potential trades, but it will give all GMs opportunity to negotiate for all players.

I had a question come in on this, so here's a clarification: - It is not required that a player who was posted as available and then traded has to be posted again by the new owner. Once a player has been traded they can be traded again without going through a trade block, since they've already been publicly available.
