Easy negotiations with Adam, and we were able to find a place that helps us both pretty quickly. Sorry to see Joc go...we're fans of panâche. Good luck to all.

With Mancini the writing appeared to look like the treatment Hosmer received in Chicago. Mervis is taking over 1B and the OF is suddenly filling up quickly. Joc isn’t available to play right now, but when your everyday outfield includes Harold Castro, you start to look for new options. Joc has a lot of power and can move Castro to the bench where he belongs. We are still hopeful Brantley can do that to Solano for us but only time can tell.

Hate to see Goodman go but he was always going to be a casualty to our war machine, we hope Miami enjoys his services. Oh and Herz was moving to help with the salary, could be a great bullpen guy.

Reds confirm and will demote Tim Herrin to remain cap compliant.
