Amaya didn’t fit in the Giants long term plans at C so felt sending him for a hot start milb P was worth it. Phillips has some reliever risk but his SO have looked pretty nasty. Colmenarez for the pick was more for an extra roster spot. Over to Michael to confirm.

Confirmed. I hate to give up Phillips but I like Amaya and Colmenarez.
