Hunter Barnhart, P (TB) - Prospect

KC sends:
Hunter Dozier, CI (KC) - 21: $2.4M, 22-23: ARB

TB Logic:
I wanted to add one more CI to the mix to further strengthen my depth. After whiffing in FA, I turned to trading. Hopefully Dozier can put up numbers like he did in 2019. Looking at in from the longterm, Schnell and Barnhart are really tough to part with, but I feel like Dozier can make an impact right away for me.

Confirmed. Bailey reached out on some other players but we ended up on Dozier. I'm trying to get younger as the Royals still are not contending. Schnell is an intriguing outfielder which is an area of need for me. Barnhart, I believe has some upside especially committing fully to his baseball career after being drafted.
