Tyler reached out and asked about MI help and we went back and forth for a while and agreed to terms on the above.  Diaz is a big time power threat but I have some depth in my MI and was really looking for a high leverage guy, thats where Rogers comes in as he is slated to be the closer or at the very least a set up guy for the twins this season, the draft pick helped with the extra years of control that Diaz had.  Great deal and smooth talks!

Accept, it's hard to move the stud of my bullpen, but with MI so hard to acquire I had to make a move to bring in a long term solution at the position. Hopefully Diaz finds the power stroke that he had in the minors. We are very pleased to welcome him to the fold. This also clears up a little bit of cap space to go out and hopefully add another arm to our pen while filling in a much needed position on our roster
