I approached Colin about taking Evan White and his bad contract and this is what we came up with. I signed Williams earlier this morning, but his Mariners career is short lived. I always believed in White, but his injury and strikeout issues made me need to get rid of him. This was the right kind of deal to do that. Over to Colin to confirm!
