- Kyle Farmer, MI (MIN): $5.585M | Arb 3
- Jonathan Hernandez, RP (TEX): $995K | Arb 2-3

Rational: Jeff approached me with the idea of a Wong for Rodgers swap and this came together pretty quick. I'm definitely trading some production today for value tomorrow, but I'm a big fan of Rodgers. His injury should keep his contract number down next year and he's hopefully a piece I can build around in '24 & '25. Short term, I'm hopeful that Farmer has a role with the Twins, or gets traded to a team with a need at short. Tacking on Hernandez adds another young arm I like with S+HD upside. Good working with Jeff as always and over to him to confirm.

Mariners confirm. I was already thin at starting Mi before Rodgers went down. I like Rodgers, but he never lived up to his top 10 prospect grade. And that’s okay. But I am in a win now mode and I need production today. Kolten Wong is just as productive as Rodgers and he plays on my favorite team. Works for me! I didn’t want to move Hernandez but I’m not going to let a RP stand in the way of a deal to get a starting bat. Judge did all the legwork here, and props to him.
