St. Louis Cardinals Trade:

2023 1st Round Pick (1.26)

Tossed around a few ideas with Zack before we landed on this. I like Brubaker for what he is and Hoglund for what he could be, but I've been collecting 1st round picks this off-season, and this nets me my first in this year's draft. Hoglund may be a 1st round talent himself yet the 1st could be anything! It could even be a Gunnar Hoglund!

This trade addressed a need for my team in another well-priced starter for my rotation. I was comfortable giving up the late round pick as I believe a healthy Gunnar Hoglund is going to prove more valuable. Confirmed.
