Cardinals Rationale:
Trading away a strong prospect and draft pick to obtain additional later round picks to build out my farm system after recent trades in addition to getting a solid player to round out my infield. Easy talks as always with Sam. Over to him to confirm.

Confirmed! I viewed Drury as a short-term bridge to a longer-term solution in my infield, and I think I hopefully found that solution with this trade. I’m excited to add Busch to the fold, even if it’s a short wait until he gets some MLB action. Some recent additions of other outfield prospects also made Marlowe expendable. I’m always looking to acquire more 1st round picks, so I’m happy to get 1.15 back in this trade, and I’ve long wished I hadn’t sent it Zack’s way in the first place.
