I saw Hilch's post on Slack tonight and figured we could try to put a trade together. We have been going back and forth for a while but have similar needs so it's been tough to matchup. We made a small trade tonight though. I was looking to consolidate a roster spot in prep for more FA signings. Ramirez and Lopez are two guys I like, but given my MiLB middle infield depth I figured they made sense to send here. The 2020 season was not kind to Thorpe, but he is still young so I am hopeful he comes back strong. If worst comes to worst, maybe he moves to the 'pen and then becomes the next Liam Hendriks. Extremely unlikely, but I would take it!
