Jason and I went back and forth on a deal to help him free up some salary, and help me with a steady pitcher. I get the pitcher upgrade in 2023, he gets a starting pitcher, depth bat and 7ish M in cap relief to play with in free agency. Over to Jason and his Astros for confirmation.

Astros confirm. As Jeff said this move gives me some more space to grab someone else in free agency and give me a bench bat in toro as well. I like Cookie but with Marco I get someone younger and someone who have more control. Good conversation with Jeff
