Despite helping lead the real life Nationals to a WS in '19 and pitching 150+ innings each season, Corbin seems to have lost his lethal slider. Combine that with his substantial salary, and he doesn't have a role on a team I'm hoping to take deep in the playoffs in the coming years. Zack reached out when I posted him on the waivers, and this deal came together pretty quickly. Losing 1 of my two first round picks hurts, as does sending away Jones, who I think can thrive in CO. But I can't turn down the opportunity to free up this much cap space, and I like what Cantillo has shown when he's healthy. Great dealing with Zack, over to him to confirm.
