Twins Trade:
- Jorge Polanco, MI (MIN): $7.5M | $10.5M | $12M (Team Option)
- LaMonte Wade, OF (SF): $1.25M | Arb 2-3

Pirates Trade:
- Shane Baz, SP (TB): MiLB
- Taj Bradley, SP (TB): MiLB
- Matthew Allan, SP (NYM): MiLB

Rational: This trade doesn't fit with my thinking of building upon last year -  I wasn't really intending to trade Polanco - but I felt like the value here was too much to pass up. Looking ahead to a potential 2024-2027 rotation headlined by Lodolo, Baz and Bradley was enough to get me to pull the trigger here. Obviously some health concerns, and Polanco & Wade are both bounce back candidates, but this is a short term pain for long term gain approach on this one.

Easy deal that came together quickly. Over to Rod to confirm.

I confirm. I think that Polanco is a star who was hampered by his knee injury, and I think that Wade should get steady playing time and be a possibility for 20 HRs. It hurts to give up three young pitchers with that upside, but I want to accelerate my build and both of these guys have some contractual control left.
