Orioles Trade:
- Nick Lodolo, SP (CIN): $850K | $850K | Arb 1-3
Rational: I've been hunting for a quality starting pitcher that had multiple years of team control, and I've landed one of my top targets in Lodolo. While I feel like I've overpaid to do so, Lodolo has been one of my guys since he went to TCU and I think he just continues to climb the rankings over the next few seasons. Lux was a nice piece to get back when flipping Lynn & Jansen, but I had a bigger need in the rotation especially with the other MI's ahead of him. Pfaadt and the pick are unfortunate casualties, but were needed to get this deal done.
