JT Realmuto (C, PHI): 23: $32,000,000; 24: $32,000,000; 25: FA

Minnesota Trades:
Jesse Winker (OF, MIL): 23: $8,250,000; 24: FA

Moving some pieces around, think Winker has some juice left in the tank and could be worth retaining past this season. In the meantime, happy to create more working capital.

The Twins Confirm!

The salary difference here is a little worrying, but with this trade I have the best catcher in the league locked up for two years. If it turns out I'm not as competitive as I want to be, I should be able to buy down his contract to maximize the return. Winker probably bounces back from last year, but ultimately he wore out his welcome with our team.

Great conversations with Peter on this and hope it works out for both of us.
