Trying to add for my playoff push and next year by gaining an actual CI who plays half his games in Coors (the good games, lol) - Robles is an old fav. of mine and I think Crowe has potential as an RP. I have some reservations about this trade (mostly Martinez) but ultimately think Cron is the best player in the deal by a good margin - vastly under-rated player in general from my perspective. Gaining a bit of depth here by adding actual MLBers isn't the worst thing. I swear the biggest motivation for this trade is just to get rid of Moustakas. I am so over this guy, lol.

Confirmed. For me, this was about setting myself up to start my window next year. I was facing a roster crunch at CI with Montero, Jones, "Italian Breakfast" and Duran, so it made sense to try and deal Cron from an area of strength. Big fan of Pepiot, Minter, and Martinez, not to mention having another 1st round draft pick in a very strong draft class. Losing Robles and Crowe hurts, and don't like Moose, but that's the cost of doing business. More trades to follow. Great dealing with Matt as always. Best of luck in the playoffs.
