I had been shopping Pham and Lucchesi a lot individually but didn't find a return I liked until I threw 'em together. I love the upside I'm getting back here so I was happy to send a little extra to get this one across the finish line. I think the world of Jordyn Adams, and while the Angels have almost no history of developing good starting pitching, Rodriguez and Holmes have good stuff and that's pretty cool. Angels confirm.

Pham is the headliner. Outside of the pandemic season, he's been amazing in recent years. With so few free agents on my roster, the options to retain Pham after a bounce back are there for me through restricted tag. Lucchesi is a bigger question mark. If he secures a spot in the SD rotation, this trade is a win for me. If not, I'll need more from the other pieces. Which is why I like bringing in Rosario and Strahm to replenish the minors and stretch the bullpen respectively.

I give up a lot of MiLB talent here, but the return is worth the price for now and the future.
