ATL has had a tough season and while we are still trying to somehow trip into the final wildcard spot, I have decided to move on from DeGrom as I do not think I can retain him going into next year while still executing all my other plans. I am trying to build for the future into something truly sustainable here in Atlanta. LAD has the assets to take a swing the the best pitcher alive and ultimately I felt I was getting enough volume to justify losing out on DeGrom for about 9/10 starts.
