Alex Cobb, SP SFG - $9M in 22 & 23 with $10M in 24 (Franchise Tag)
I woke up this morning and saw that Feede, Khul, and Greene all hit the IL this week. With Wade Miley looking very mediocre in his rehab appearances and my desperate need for some quality innings beyond Gray and Castillo, I made some cap clearing moves this morning and brought in Cobb. I’m definitely giving up the higher upside player here in Jones, but I need Cobb more right now…fingers crossed he doesn’t have an injury and makes this a mute point.
