My long-term outlook necessitated a move off of one of my bigger contracts and, unfortunately, Trevor Story was the right fit. Andres Gimenez may not be able to carry my offense in quite the same way, but getting him back should be a nice boost even if he cools down off his breakout pace. I have a hilariously bad history of trading my 1st rounders so I'm at least hopeful that the cap this clears will give me the flexibility to transactionally bury this trade in no time.
