Contract Details:MI Trevor Story (Franchise Tag) - $20M $20M $22.5M $22.5M $25M (opt-out) $25M ($25M - if Story opts out, team can opt back in by adding this 7th year) MI Hao Yu Lee - $801k MiLB CI Juan Guerrero - Standard MiLB MI Andres Gimenez - $750k Pre-Arb CI Coby Mayo - Standard MiLB --- My long-term outlook necessitated a move off of one of my bigger contracts and, unfortunately, Trevor Story was the right fit. Andres Gimenez may not be able to carry my offense in quite the same way, but getting him back should be a nice boost even if he cools down off his breakout pace. I have a hilariously bad history of trading my 1st rounders so I'm at least hopeful that the cap this clears will give me the flexibility to transactionally bury this trade in no time. Best of luck to both Jacob and Aaron -- over to them for confirmation!

Confirmed. Figured I would try to capitalize off his big start and try to bolster my minors as I'm not close to competing. Good talks!

Accept. While it hurts to lose Mayo, adding Story to my long term MI situation clears a lot of room for the possible outcomes of my top MI prospects. Looking to push into competitiveness in 2023
