Huge trade. Had to pay up for Devers on this one. I know he’s about to get expensive but I have the cap room for him. Ramon Urias is a cheap option at CI for now. Herz has been great this year and I don’t mind holding onto his expensive milb contract for now. The conversion to SP experiment for Rodriguez is looking good so far for the Giants. Over to Kevin for confirm.

Really like this trade as I was trying to be proactive in dealing Devers before his contract balloons and takes a substantial amount of my space leaving little flexibility. It will hurt losing Dever’s elite bat but I believe May can be an ace and I’m high on Luciano and Pena. Profar can be a serviceable CI until Kiriloff or Casas are promoted.
