San Diego Padres Trade:
MI Thairo Estrada - $750k Pre-Arb
Atlanta Braves Trade:
OF Sam Hilliard - $750k Pre-Arb
A classic floor-for-upside trade here. I think Thairo Estrada is a really solid player, but he's buried on my depth chart, especially long-term. I do need outfielders though, and while Sam Hilliard is a pretty big gamble at this point, I love his tools and am intrigued by his early plate discipline. Playing in Coors hasn't really helped him so far, but I guess it can't hurt either.
