I ended up with 3 Braves bats the way the offseason shook out, so I decided to consider diversifying my lineup and see if I could cash in on Olson’s new deal. Nola certainly improves my rotation in 2022 and Hoskins isn’t a huge downgrade. Murphy popped a little in the minors too and we’re excited at the potential. Dodgers confirm

This is a tough trade to make, but it actually came together pretty easily. Coincidentally, like Matt Olson, I have returned "home" to Atlanta recently, so this felt right in a lot of ways. With Tatis out for months, I am hoping Olson will supply me with the power I'll be missing in the short-term and help anchor my offense long-term as I try to take down the very team I'm trading with lol.
