As a Mets fan, I'm pumped about the upside of Diaz. Cody came to me seeking a pick, and the right offer happened to be there. Knew it was going to tough for me to shop Kimbrel at his salary cap, so retaining half to make him a part of this deal helped me get some other prospects I prefer.
