My hope in signing Didi last year was that he'd be able to regain some of that Yankees magic while serving as a bridge to some of my MI prospects, but that didn't quite pan out as I hoped. Aaron approached me about taking on Didi's contract, and while I like Shuster a lot I'm glad to get of this contract and able to spend that money elsewhere/roll over additional funds to next year. Smooth talks with Aaron on this one, and over to him to confirm.
