TB and CHC Trade

Nick Bitsko, P (TB) - Prospect
Pedro Martinez, MI (TB) - Prospect

CHC sends:
Ian Happ, OF (CHC) 21: $3.5M Arb estimate, 22-23: ARB

TB logic:
I am looking to add some more depth at the MLB level. I hate to lose Bitsko here, his upside is sky-high. But I was impressed with what Happ did this summer. If he can get consistent PT then he should be a nice asset. Chipping in Pedro Martinez sealed the deal, as he will be reunited with his original club.

Cubs agree to this trade...it was tough losing Happ but I couldn't pass up on Bitsko. Can't wait to see what this kid can do moving forward once he recovers from surgery and Pedro is hitting machine, not much power but more of a top of the lineup run producer in years to come. Great working with Bailey Good luck in the up coming year.
