Twins trade:

- MIN 2023 2nd Round Draft Pick

Pirates trade:
- Cap relief

My initial plan was to hang onto Hosmer and ride out the year with him, but recent trades put me in a tight spot from a cap perspective. This opens up a little more money that I can better use in free agency. Smooth talks with Rod on this one, and over to him to confirm.

I confirm. I've got a ton of cap space, am not in position to contend yet, and want to continue to amass valuable assets.
