- Mitch Garver, MIN C: $3.5M (Arb Est) | Arb 3 | FA
Mets Trade:
- Gary Sanchez, NYY C: $7.5M (Arb Est) | FA
- Isiah Kiner-Falefa, TEX MI: $5M (Arb Est) | Arb 3-4 | FA
Sanchez is an upgrade over Garver, and while I like Keegan Thompson a lot, I think this could be a buy low window for IKF regardless if he stays with Texas or gets moved to another team. I take on a little bit of salary, but the additional lineup strength is worth it. I will have to hope Sanchez, Bell, or Gallo resigns or I risk losing one (or more) in FA next year, but that's a problem for future Judge to worry about. Quick and easy talks with Walt - over to him to confirm.
