Been a fun back and forth with Mr. Kevin and we landed on this package. The tinkering and personalization of this squad continues as I make improvements for both the short and long term. Xander is a cornerstone type piece and has the kind of production that will bring some much needed juice to the offense.

I get to improve my weakness of my team: pitching. Anderson is a top of rotation piece who is cheap and controllable for many years. I feel Shea L. will be my future starting catcher and I like Beeter’s potential in the Dodgers system. It was tough to give up Bogaerts but he will be 30 next year likely hitting the downside of his career and he would have cost $20M in his mid-thirties. This gives me added salary flexibility.
