Rangers send RP Rafael Montero 2M in '21 Arb 4 '23 to Cardinals
Cardinals send OF Dexter Fowler 14.5M in '21 to Rangers
Rangers are in need of outfield depth for '21. Montero is a nice reliever but expendable at 30 years old. His prime will be past when we contend again. Fowler fills a need and we can easily absorb his expiring contract. A veteran presence in the clubhouse among the youngsters helps too.(hehe) Easy dealing with Chris. Good luck to the Cardinals organization next year.
