It is unfortunate how deGrom has seen his season slip away, and although I'm not sure he'll pitch again this year, I'm willing to roll the dice on his arm not falling off just yet. I'm losing a solid, healthy starter with the playoffs right around the corner and I'm greatly thinning out my upper tier of prospects with no guarantee of replacing those innings, but my rotation is clearly missing an ace long-term and now (fingers crossed) it has one.
