Angels 2021 2nd rd pick in the FYPD



Tigers are continuing to accumulate prospects with upside and adding to our draft pick stables for next years FYPD. In this case specifically, we like Vera's upside as a MI, which is a position we're weak at. Ramirez is a bit of a project, but has some pop and potential in the outfield. As we search for our 3rd player to patrol the OF with Riley Greene and Pete Crow-Armstrong, we continue to search for guys who could get some helium in the next 24 months. I now also own two Alexander Ramirez's, which has got to be worth something right?

Angels confirm.

Jansen at $10 mill is palatable to me. He was still such a good pitcher last year, postseason notwithstanding. Farmer should gobble up the RP counting stats as well. And Goodrum is a nice bench bat to extend my lineup and add some steals. I traded away some talented teenagers but was able to secure some useful pieces in the process. Hopefully that second-rd pick doesn't end up being very high.
