Tigers continue to accumulate younger assets that line up with our window to compete. We like the potential upside on Hulsizer, along with a hope that Santillan regains the his pre-2019 form and can grab a rotation spot in 2021.

Garcia is a cheap cost controlled bullpen arm (I don’t see his cost blowing up in the arbitration process unless he becomes wildly better than he’s shown). Hopefully he will continue to see high leverage situations every now and again as the Tigers figure out their shuffled and hobbled together bullpen with some serious talent (that needs directioning).

Boyd completes my shuffling of starters from Lorenzen and Mahle to higher upside starters....well Fleming may not be the highest upside. But with Gray and Castillo, hopefully bounce backs from Boyd and Miley, and Fleming I think I have a very respectable (and less top heavy rotation). And buys me time as I wait for Greene, Lodolo, Johnson, Canterino, Wolf, and Santos.

Hope the lottery tickets workout for Detroit. Always a gamble and these guys aren’t sure fire hits but, definitely have potential to succeed.
