A significant price to pay, but with Cobb, Duffy and Cueto all on the injured list right now, the move to acquire another arm was necessary. Collins has struggled all season, and Murphy represents a slight upgrade in the power department. Shedding Castro's dead salary is a bonus.

Mariners confirm. Adding talent at or close to the majors is exciting. Yarbrough has been inconsistent, but above average. Tom Murphy is more of a clubhouse contributor than fantasy asset at this time, so I’m happy to move these two for quite a few talented players.
