Jameson Taillon NYY (21: 2.25M; 22: Arb 3)
Anthony Castro TOR (21: 500k -> scale)

Yankees Trade:
Roansy Contreras PIT (MiLB)
Maikol Escotto PIT (MiLB)

Taillon's stint in the Motor City was short lived, but productive. Sadly age and control wise he won't fit into my future plans, so it made sense to move him for some more suitable assets. The irony of the return has not escaped us. Most excited about Contreras, and feel Escotto should be a serviceable util/bench option for us within our window of competition.

Yanks confirm

Was looking to add a solid mid rotation SP and Taillon fits the bill. He’s looked better of late, hopefully he keeps it up. Cost a couple of nice prospects but worth the risk for me.
